This is the lightest infinitely adjustable dropper post on the market. Even lighter than 2-position XC specific lightweight posts and suitable for all rider heights, weights and riding styles. Save an additional 10g with the Ti Bolt Upgrade Kit.
This is the best feeling dropper you’ll ever ride. It takes 75% less actuation force to drop your saddle, it has ultra low-friction, self-lubricating igus® bushings and a low friction SKF® wiper seal keep the V3 running smoother for longer, with less maintenance.
A simple and reliable low-maintenance design is insanely easy to work on at home using only the OneUp EDC multi-tool or three standard tools (14mm wrench, 2mm & 5mm hex). Plus, it has a super long, 350-hour interval between recommended services.
Whether you ride an XS or XXL, the V3 is the longest post that will fit your bike. It has the shortest stack height and shortest total length of any other post and offers 20mm of adjustable travel. Use our Dropper Post Length Selector to find your perfect post. Easy.
Every rider is different, with different frames and rider inseams, etc. Your best bet is to use our Dropper Post Length Selector. You will need: Your current ride height, the distance from the top of the seat post collar to the middle of your saddle rails. Maximum Frame Insertion measurement. You can find this by inserting a rigid post or tape measure into your frame until it hits an obstruction. Simply plug those into the calculator and we'll give you our recommendation of dropper length based on those measurements.
We recommend you do an upper bushing clean-and-grease every 25hrs of riding, a full clean and grease service every 75-100hrs of riding, and a full rebuild every 250-350hrs of riding.
Most likely, yes.
If your dropper remote is cable clamping (has a bolt to clamp the cable) then yes, it is compatible with our dropper. If your remote does not have a cable clamp bolt, you can purchase the Dropper cable/nut kit. It comes with a cable bushing that can clamp a cable. With this you can set up any none cable clamping remote.
Yes, our seat clamps are fully compatible with 7x9mm & 7x10mm carbon seat rails.
The orientation of the actuator is dependant on the threads in the lower tube. This means the actuator orientation, once tightened up, is arbitrary and different on every post. The actuator orientation cannot be changed without rotating the lower tube on the guide pins.
There can be a few different reasons for slow dropper extension. The first checks should always be:
If your posts continues to extend slowly then please email us at support@oneupcomponents.com and we will help resolve your situation.
We do not have upper and lower tubes available as single items.
OneUp droppers should be serviced using a light suspension grease. All droppers come with a small packet of Slickoleum, but any light suspension grease will do the trick. We do not recommend any lubes, including fork boost on our droppers.
A minimum rider weight of 50lbs is required to fully compress the post.
Make sure to apply force to the nose of your saddle, if you're close to that minimum!

"I heard many positive reviews of the v3 dropper post, I now have my own opinion. I purchase the new orbea wild Lt H20 and have upgraded almost everything prior to my first ride and the dropper post was purchase one. I am extremely satisfied with the mechanics and easy of installation, it also has a crisp fast response upon activation. I will never have to research dropper post when wanting to upgrade again. The one up V3 has made my permanent upgrade list"
"Best dropper post on the market! The insertion depth and low stack height make this dropper a game changer. I run the 180mm V3 on my size large Santa Cruz Nomad 6 and it’s the only 180mm dropper that gets the saddle far enough out of the way. If only it was wireless…"
"The dropper post works great! I ordered the 180mm And feels light and looks sharp! The only thing I would want is a model with the Kashima Gold coating 🇺🇸 thank U OneUp🚀☮️🙏"
"Ordered a kit for a Trek mountain bike. Your customer service reviewed the order and noticed I may have ordered the wrong handlebar bracket. They were correct I ordered the incorrect part. Before shipment they fixed the order and sent me all the correct parts. The install information on website made the install easier. Much appreciated all around. Dropper post meets expectations all parts were good quality."
"After doing a lot of research for a replacement dropper, it seemed like the V3 was the obvious choice and after installing and riding it, I can see why! This post was easy to install and when purchased with the remote to make sure you have all the right material, it's a breeze. The post functions super well, snappy return to extended position, no sag and even better is the post is quite light. Highly recommend and the price is very fair!"
"I have been riding this dropper post ever since it came out, and now that I just built a second bike, having this dropper on it was a must. It has worked flawlessly for about 2 1/2 years so purchasing a second one for this new build was a no-brainer."
"Put this on a 24 inch kids trail bike (Tek Wahoo trail). He’s 9 years old and about 60 pounds and can operate it fairly easily. The 120mm length is good but I kinda think the 150 would have been better. Overall, we’re very happy with it."
"The OneUp v3 dropper in an absolute masterpiece! The lightest, infinite adjust adjustable, trapper Seat post available, hands-down, the smoothest acting! And FAST AF Boi!!!"
"Bought this for my Salsa Beargrease and it was super easy to install. Exactly what I was looking for and performs great so far after only 3-4 rides. Very smooth and easy lever action. Can’t wait to test in colder weather."
"Loved my V2 dropper (still going strong after 4 years and a refresh with the rebuild kit - easy to do on your own btw). V3 for my new bike was a no brainier 🤘"
